Join the Blakesburg Historical Preservation Society for our Second Annual Music on the Porch featuring Tom Blew on Sunday, June 28, from 3:00–6:00 p.m.
A lifelong resident of the Ottumwa area, Tom Blew is a beloved local musician, retired educator, and longtime fixture of the regional music scene. He began playing drums at age five, performed his first paying gig at age 12, and attended Parsons College on a full music scholarship. From 1973 to 1975, he toured the country with the Don Blew Trio. Today, Tom is a talented multi-instrumentalist known for his energetic acoustic solo performances featuring classic favorites and music spanning multiple generations and genres.
